Encourage others through your experience walking with Christ

"Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing" - 1 Thessalonians 5:11.

If an encouraging thought comes to mind, share it! It may not have the same effect if you wait. Don’t let shyness hold you back. Instead, form a new habit: “Encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today…” (Hebrews 3:13).

And with great power the apostles were giving their testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was upon them all - Acts 4:33

People may not know what you are going through, you might be called all sort of names, you might be treated in a bad way, but keep testifying, that is what would make you to overcome.

Luke 21: 12, says,’ but you shall be tested, tried and afflicted. But verse 13 says, it shall turn to your testimony.

God is good all the time! And I believe that once you've received Him, He continuously working in your life even to those times where you thought He wasn't there for you. I've been through a lot of troubles and issues in my past but there’s one thing remains, God’s love never fails.  I remember when the market crashed in 2008 to 2010, I got laid off from a health care company and was given a 30 day notice. I was sad but hopeful and I’m so sure that God will provide all my needs one way or another. Guess what, I was only on my 15 days and I got a new job offer from a well-known company focusing on Internet Marketing Industry. But the test didn't stop there, mid-year 2011 with the new  company, they have had to merge with another struggling company and because of duplication in positions they cut off more jobs and I said here we go again. I tried to apply and sending resumes to couple of companies right away and had an interview to one of the third-party contractor Government Software company but they said they can only offer certain amount of salary which was way lower than expected pay grade and they want me to start within 3 days and so I said I can’t and so I have to turn the offer down not only because they low-ball me big time but also I already have 2 plane tickets for me and my son going to ASIA trip for 3 weeks. After 2 days the said company responsed back and said thank you for your interest and time, we already filled up the position. So I've waited and at the same time there was a bit of worriedness, regrets why I declined the offer and it just so happened  that I having a vacation in a totally bad timing but I said, Oh well, I will enjoy my vacation and let the Lord find me a job (with a SMILE ^_^). Long story short, still, I went to my short trip in ASIA visiting my family and on my way going there I prayed to the Lord and asked Him “Lord if you will allow me to find a better job please give me the wisdom and help me” and I keep on praying.  In ASIA, 5 days before my return date to USA, my old friend from high school approached me through text-message asking for help because her daughter was hospitalized and in need of financial support really badly. That time I only have enough money for my vacation and I can’t afford to do extra spending and on top of that I'm jobless and don't even know what kind of job I'll be getting, but I said “Lord you know my heart and I trust you, this money that I have is not mine it's yours, I will give it to my friend coz this is what you want me to do at this moment”, so I did that. I called my friend and let her know that, and she was stunned and crying, and she said I didn’t expect that much help coz we never talked or say hi since high school graduation, and you help me more than what I’ve asked you for, she said how can I repay you? I replied, just take care of your daughter and kiss her for me, and she stop talking and was crying the whole conversation. That moment, I felt like I am rich because I was able to help through His grace and blessings. So my return date is up, I was on my way going back here in US, we stop over at Taipei Airport and so I connect to their free Wi-Fi and check my email. Guess who emailed me??? That third party government contractor company that I applied for and afterwards I turned down, they just message me again and said, ”Jayson if you are still interested you can start anytime you want and we will give this kind of salary (which is more than what I was asking for), plus all the benefits, please let us know your thoughts as soon as possible”. I was speechless and just crying, and I said Lord you are awesome, I knew you will do this, I just knew it coz this is what you have promised to us. Acts 20:35 - In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.' "Matthew 6:26 says “Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?” Brothers and sisters, just trust Him, put your faith in Him coz He will never break His promises. God Bless You All!
